I especially love earrings because you can play with a mix of different designs
and really create an ensemble with a little story and personal style,
and also because unlike a ring, for example,
I have much more artistic freedom as a designer.
Earrings are less felt on the body when wearing them
and are less affected by humidity compared to, say, a necklace.

So... how do you choose earrings correctly?

Here Noa Shares Some Important Tips for Wearing Your Earrings:

  1. Generally speaking, and unless it's for an event lasting just a few hours, it's advisable not to wear earrings weighing more than 2.5 grams per piercing. Heavy weight over time will cause the earlobe to stretch downward due to gravity, changing its shape and enlarging the hole (which will make it difficult to wear regular earrings later on and require adjustments).

  2. Studs are convenient because you don't have to fuss with changing or removing them, true. But it's important not to sleep with studs in. For restless sleepers, the earring post (the part that goes through the hole) can get caught in the bedding and cause a scratch or even a tear in the earlobe.
You can sleep with "endless" hoop earrings only (a continuous hoop like in our shop, not a clicker/hinged type, which can also enlarge the hole), though it's best to sleep without any jewelry at all since small pieces are delicate and can bend or even break - we don't have complete control over our movements while sleeping.

  3. Choose designs that suit your personal style and how you prefer to wear jewelry in daily life, rather than chasing every trend (or influencer) - this way, over the years you'll build a collection of jewelry that works well together and with your wardrobe, maintains its quality, and will always be beautiful because the designs you choose will be timeless.

  4. For all types of earrings, it's recommended to occasionally clean the part that goes into the ear with 70% alcohol. Our body sometimes secretes an anti-inflammatory substance in response to the foreign object (the earring), and it's worth cleaning with a cotton pad and alcohol to disinfect and prevent buildup of hardened material that can scratch the inside of the piercing.
